Green Pods - The Green Preschool in Kailua

For years The Green Preschool in Kailua has been a home-based preschool. Taught at the home of Auntie Pualani. We are a small group of children in a home environment.

Now we would like to bring Green Education to YOUR HOME.

Introducing Green Pods! A way to organize home schooling children into pods of several students and provide them with a teacher in the home school home of your choice.

Pods will consist of mixed aged students; ages 3 – 10, grades pre-k through 3rd grade. Children will be grouped according to their location, family composition, and similar interests. The Pods will be mixed aged groups. Families will decide which home school family or families will host the pod.

The Green Pods will find a teacher for your group who will bring appropriate curriculum and school supplies to your home and create a day at school in your home, as a “homeschooling” experience.

This is a NEW venture for The Green Preschool in Kailua and a new business model. As such, WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK.

The Green Pods program will be a hybrid of traditional subjects presented in a creative and holistic way. Our teachers will be creating a new kind of curriculum mixing STEM subjects with art, movement and music.
